Ghana 50 years of Independence celebration

50 years after Ghana became the first country south of the Sahara to gain independence from colonial rule, music enthusiasts from around the world congregated at the independence square in Accra to commemorate the auspicious event. The Ghana as one concert is one of the highlights for the year long independent Ghana jubilee festivities. Artes Audio Visual based in Dubai expanded its rental stock of emPad to supply the audio system for the vibrant live show. Artes also supplied Staging, Lighting and Video systems for the production which posed unique logistical and engineering challenges. Avril Rodrigues of Artes was in charge of the Audio department while his brother Ashley Rodrigues co-ordinated the rest of the effort.

Meyersound in Malaysia

Seapan is proud to be part of the successes achieved by SES Malaysia, a prominent rental house for more than 2 decades. SES Malaysia supplied Meyer MILO for the Citrawarna (colors of Malaysia) 2006 Dance Extravaganza Festival in Malaysia. The audience, as well as the dancers themselves, heard the music powering the dance clearly through the entire stadium-sized area, thanks to a large system of Meyer Sound MILO high-power curvilinear array loudspeakers.

1.5 million in Indonesia

No miracles were needed when in March 2006 emPad fulfilled the mammoth production of the miracle crusader Benny Hinn in Karnaval show grounds in Jakarta, Indonesia. The reason we declare this a mammoth production is the sheer number of people involved 500,000 pax show for 3 days in a row. This totals 1.5 million people in the 3 days served by the brilliantly engineered Meyer and emPad. Harry Kiss Productions chief system engineer Suwedy managed his teams into implementing the carefully planned system design flawlessly despite 3 days delay in the setup schedule caused by rainy weather conditions.
